TABOR TRIKES  owner and founder, Kay (and PR manager, ZOOMER) about to leave on  another adventure. That's Kay's  2003 HONDA GL1800 with a MTC  VOYAGER KIT .

     Kay and I started Tabor Trikes, LLC in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia.

      For over a year, both of us researched all the available Trike Kits on the market. Kay was a new rider and I was a recent amputee who wanted to continue riding. We found several Trike Kits that looked and worked great--but were simply out of our budget range. Then we found MTC Voyager.

      We immediately fell in love with the Voyager primarily because it offered us the safety, confidence and affordability we wanted. I bought one for my Kawasaki 1200 and Kay bought one for her new Honda Goldwing. The installation was easier than I thought and soon we were touring the beautiful Virginia countryside. We even trailered our bikes down to our Florida home on Marco Island for the winter.  What a blast!

      Because we received so many positive comments , we decided to visit the MTC VOYAGER factory in Morris, IL and in 2003 became a distributor for them. Our intention was to create a company dedicated to getting and keeping riders with physical limitations or inexperience on the road. We wanted to save these riders the time we had to spend researching and offer a more affordable "triking" option . To our surprise, we found the Voyager appealed to all riders; young and mature, disabled or not.
